Flexibility is, in essence, the key ingredient for a quality and fruitful mentoring relationship. Plan-your-career.com is addressing an international audience who have some appreciably differing learning styles and  expectations. The learning material that is shared between mentor and the various types of client is not demanding in terms of time and effort required for results to show. As for administrative formalities, again this is kept to a minimum as will be seen below.

Assessment/Introductory Session & Plan of Action

A free session follows Registration to determine needs, priorities and a Plan of Action.

Sessions and Fees

Both to be determined at the Assessment stage. Sessions come in blocks. Normally there are 5 hourly sessions per block and the average person will usually be expected to need 2 blocks to achieve appreciable understanding of and the ability to apply key concepts in most cross-cultural career or negotiation situations. Sessions are booked and paid by blocks. Fees vary from £50/hourly session for bookings of one block, down to £40/hourly session for bookings of two or more blocks.
T&Cs and the Plan of Action will be sent to the client's e-mail address following receipt of registration and assessment forms and prior to the payment of any fees.

Delivery Methods

Custom made to client requirements and circumstances. To avoid any technological glitches, sessions will be on line but asynchronous to accommodate varying availability periods of both mentor and client.

Referrals

Referrals can be a key element in the success of mentoring programmes. Members of any cross-cultural group can readily perceive areas where they and/or other group members stand to benefit from interaction with certain profiles of new members in most learning situations. In such cases, referrals are normally made to the mentor for third parties known to a client to join the sessions as buddies. In which case, a 10% fee discount is given to the client who recommends a new fee-paying member.
